Faith Acres Farm Cabin in the Sugar Bush

Description:

Beautiful tiny cabin in the sugar bush situated on our working produce farm. A calm, relaxing retreat far away from the rush, but close enough for convenience. Sleep in the serenity of the woods and wake to the rooster crowing. A short jaunt to many of the regions wonderful outdoor adventures, abundant fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Just a short 40 minutes from the Ark Encounter. Plenty of access to the farm's fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey and fresh produce.

The space

The cabin has a queen size bed, complete with clean, soft linens. Cots (2) are available for a couple wanting to bring children, please bring bedding for cots. An outdoor solar shower stall and port-a-potty are a few feet from the cabin. Solar shower bags are provided for you to fill and set out to be heated by the sun. A gas grill and fire pit are just outside your door and basic cookware, dishes, towels and such are in the cabin. Potable water is available a few feet from the cabin. There is no electricity in the cabin, but lanterns and flashlights are provided. There is no heat source in the cabin. Please bring a cooler for your perishables. A wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the simplistic, yet elegant sounds of the sugar bush. The sugar bush and the farm are a great place to explore and experience farm life, or sit and enjoy the wind through the trees and read a good book.

Guest access

You can park right next to the cabin, if the weather is dry, otherwise there is gravel driveway parking that is only around 100 feet away, at most. We are rural, so traversing the countryside is very easy and GoogleMap friendly.

Other things to note

This is truly a very nice getaway location. We love it here on the farm and are often asked about people staying here, thus the addition of the cabin. The Sugar Bush in the Summer is a remarkable place, and the farm is a joy to watch and learn where your food comes from. It is a truly relaxing break.
